BIO
Bio or Description | Hi, my name is Brenda Worzel and I’d like to be your integration coach on your transformational journey back to your true self. As a compassionate, nonjudgmental, integration coach I will meet you with heart-centered communication and empathy to rediscover your true self. My role will be to help you discover and interpret feelings that have caused you discomfort and suffering. I became a massage therapist, personal fitness trainer and a yoga instructor and then taught that curriculum at the career college where I studied. Quite a career change! This was the beginning of my journey which has led me to coaching. I then became certified in Mindful Trauma Yoga Therapy specifically designed for veterans and first responders. I’m also a certified senior fitness and yoga instructor. However, the breathing, mindful movement, meditation and gratitude can be helpful in anyone. This set a path that seemed to be directing me to this coaching career. I truly believe that we are all unique and are able to achieve our best selves. I enjoy helping clients find their best physical, emotional and overall wellness. After experiencing ketamine infusion therapy and sessions with a Being True To You Integration Coach to unpack and interpret the messages I experienced, I decided to become an integration coach myself. Without the coaching, I would not have received the full benefit of the treatments. Through coaching, I became aware of my abandonment issues around my “messy” adoption as an infant. Although I didn’t have any substance addiction, control patterns and rigid boundaries were my behavior addictions. Those caused damage to my relationship with my daughter and probably others! She developed an eating disorder in her teenage years and beyond. All of the traditional therapies and medications didn’t help her resolve the underlying issues. Her ketamine treatments with the coaching helped her identify issues leading to the disorder which she is working on. It is also helping to mend our relationship. I of course thought that I was now really ok, however during the training it became apparent that I had behaviors that clearly were classified as addictive! The training was enlightening and triggering. It felt like the whole training was continuing my integrative coaching! I continue to work on issues. The journey back to our true selves is indeed a lifelong journey not a one-time fix. My yoga training with the breathing practices, movement and meditation will help you to achieve a sense of peace and relaxation. My teaching, customer service and management experience has honed my communication and people skills. But more importantly it has helped me develop keen listening skills. To truly hear someone, you need to listen with an open mind and heart. During my leisure time, I spend as much time as possible in nature walking my dog, playing golf or just listening to the natural sounds. My yoga practice, meditation and exercise help keep me centered and grounded. Transformation is a journey and I would like to walk alongside you on that journey. |
