Rebecca is a passionate Certified Holistic Health Coach, Yoga Teacher and Addictions Specialist. She works with individuals and groups to discover tools and resources for optimal health and healing. Originally from Brooklyn, NY Rebecca’s passion for this work began out of her own history of adverse experiences, trauma and addiction and her integrative journey on the path of healing and recovery.
Rebecca currently leads a trauma recovery based yoga therapy and mindfulness program for for addiction-recovery groups. She created a “Yoga for Recovery” teacher training certification to support clients to doing the same. She has been working as a holistic health coach for the past 7 years, and lovingly guides her clients to empower themselves on their individual journey of transformation through embodied practices and skills.
Rebecca received her degree in Contemplative Psychology- with an emphasis on Health & Healing, through Naropa University, became a Certified Holistic Health Counselor through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, and became a yoga teacher through Tillai University. She has completed her education and exam to become a certified Addictions Counselor and will soon become registered. Rebecca is a student in a residential Zen-Buddhist community, and has extensive training in meditation and contemplative practices.
Rebecca’s passionate and playful nature makes her one-on-one coaching sessions filled with high-energy listening, compassion, and unconditional encouragement for all walks of life. She is eternally grateful to her mentors, guides and teachers who supported her on this journey, and hopes is to give these gifts she was given to others seeking a thriving life in recovery.
